Submitting your sitemap to google will enable google to find, index, rank your site more quickly.

1.Go to google webmaster tools and create a new webmaster profile.

2.After logging on you will be asked to add a site. There add your blog url.
That's www.your-blog-name.blogspot.com and submit.

3.Next step is to verify that you are the owner of the blog.
There are two methods to do it.
1.By adding Meta Tag
2.By uploading a HTMl File
Bloggers should proceed with the first method that's by adding Meta Tag.

4.Copy the meta tag provided by google. Now go to you blogger account and click on layout tab there. Now in layout click on Edit Html tab.And then paste the code as shown below.
And then save the changes and click on verify link on google webmaster site after adding the Meta Tag.A confirmation page will appear.

5.After your site has been verified click on the link that says sumit a sitemap as shown below.
Another page appears there again click on sumit a sitemap tab and enter the url.

The Sitemap URL for any normal website is usually the index page that is stored in the highest-level directory of that site. In the case of Blogger.com or Blogspot.com, the only way to add a Sitemap is to use either of the following 2 Sitemaps

http://your-blog-name.blogspot.com/rss.xml

or

http://your-blog-name.blogspot.com/atom.xml

Now you site map has been added and it may take hours to generate the report on your site.

You can also add it to your robots.txt file. That way all the major search engines will be able to locate your sitemap.xml file. At the end of your robots.txt file just add:

Code:
Sitemap: http://yourdoamin.com/sitemap.xml

After creating XML Sitemap sitemap.xml download the file to your server and log into Google Webmaster account. Click on the link sitemaps shown on the left side. Then check the option and click Submit sitemap.xml setting selected. That's it. Google Bot will automatically upload your XML file in minutes
